Your donation helps Lake County Lake Lovers, a 501c(3) non-profit corporation, provide volunteer lake teams access to decision-quality data on their lake every other week from April to October. Your gift helps to maintain the professional-grade water quality monitoring equipment and to replenish the phosphorus filters and tablets required to do this essential testing.
Be Part of the Solution
Join a community of people working together to combat the leading cause of Lake County’s impaired lakes: nutrient pollution. Excess phosphorus fuels algae blooms, which can be harmful to people, pets and wildlife. Algae also depletes dissolved oxygen (DO) in the water, which can lead to a fish kill. The largest fish are the most susceptible to low levels of DO, the very ones anglers hope to catch.
